According to Salisbury Police department sources Stefan Naielle West, 26, of Salisbury, was arrested Sunday at 12:05 a.m. at 318 Lakeside Drive for the alleged February 22nd home invasion at 502 N. Shaver Street in Salisbury. Police sources reported that Dakota Hunter McKinnon, 20, of 502 N. Shaver St. and Shy’kila Bush, 20, of Huntington Drive in Salisbury, were victims of “burglary-forcible entry” and “assault-simple” during a home invasion at 502 N. Shaver Street Friday morning. Under no bond, West is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center.

“Salisbury Police sources report that Dakota Hunter McKinnon, 20, of 502 N. Shaver St. and Shy’kila Bush, 20, of Huntington Drive in Salisbury, were victims of “burglary-forcible entry” and “assault-simple” during a home invasion at 502 N. Shaver Street Friday morning. The pair were roughed up, but suffered no apparent injuries. A Dell laptop was stolen (valued at $100). A Door and two windows were broken with a blunt object (total value $225). Also damaged was table model Phillips color TV and a blue tooth Phillips speaker (Total value at $65). The invader exited through the front door. No weapons were shown during the incident. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 5:20 a.m.
At this time no description of the suspects is available.
