According to the Salisbury Police sources the Rushco Convenience Store at 1518 E. Innes St. was a victim of “robbery-strong arm no weapon” early Tuesday morning when a robber entered the store trhough the front door and forced a Rushco employee at the threat of a firearm (not displayed) to hand over $121. The robber promptly left through the front door and fled the area before officers arrived.
No one was injured during the incident. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch at 2:35 a.m.
The case remains under further investigation. At this time the police have revealed no suspect or disclosed a description of the robber.
