♦ A Fibrant crew tore up Anti-Fibrant.com’s John Bare’s yard in Salisbury to remove fiber optic cable to restore Fibrant service elsewhere. (See above photograph) Apparently water got inside the cable cover leading to imperfections and a breakdown in transmissions. The cable was installed underground during the soft rollout a few years back. John is NOT a subscriber to Salisbury’s over-priced 70 million dollar fiasco.
Despite City Manager Doug Paris’s recent claims that Fibrant made a small profit this past quarter, the claims are erased by the fact that Fibrant hides many of its salaries in other city departments. Fibrant still owes 7 million dollars plus interest to the city’s reserve funds and carries estimated $70 plus million dollars in debt.
