♦ Since the Salisbury Police Department is woefully understaffed because of a lack of Federal funding perhaps the city can utilize the call to volunteerism. Other cities with large violent crime and property crime numbers like Salisbury have developed para-police organizations like the Guardian Angels. Placing 35 or so drop cams in some of the most troubled neighborhoods in Salisbury could at least offer some impact on assaults, gangs, drugs, prostitution, and robberies and increase available police response.
