♦ Yesterday Rep. Harry Warren (Republican) (N.C District 77) showed up with a small army of supporters at the front of the Rowan County Administration Building to open his campaign and file with the Board of Elections.
“I’m glad you all could come out on a rainy day,”said Harry. “I’m looking forward to serving another term in Raleigh. This next term I hope to build on the legislature’s tax and regulatory reform, making North Carolina more open to business growth and development. This past legislature’s tax revision took us from 44th nationally for taxes all the way up to 17th. This will spell more jobs in North Carolina. We’re also moving ahead with education. We need excellent schools to create an educated workforce. As many of you know our legislature is moving forward to raise teacher pay.”
