♦ Yet another arrest in Salisbury High School’s subculture of drugs and violence this past Friday afternoon. According to police sources two Salisbury High School Students were busted by a school resource officer for smoking pot on campus. The two students, Corey Lee Suber, 17, of the 1600 block of Standish Street and Jordan Dejuan Oglesby, 16, of the 900 block of Maple Avenue, were both charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver a controlled schedule VI substance. Suber and Oglesby were released from the Rowan County Detention Center each on a $10,000 secured bond.
Both students were spotted lingering near a car by a school resource officer in the Salisbury High parking lot. The lot was under surveillance due to recent vandalism incidents. In short order the two students, smelling of Marijuana, were arrested when their car was searched where individual bags of pot were discovered in the vehicle’s trunk. A total of 23 grams of marijuana were found.
