Video: Livingstone College Fire Code Violations Presentation at Salisbury City Hall. Vendetta? Human Rights Issues?

♦ Complete Video of Livingstone College Fire Code Violations presentation at Salisbury City Council on Tuesday April 14th 2014.  The city maintains that Livingstone College has piled up 1,023 fire code violations and owes over $63,000 in fines.  Livingstone College President Jimmy Jenkins claims the City of Salisbury’s report is erroneous.

Anonymous sources in the West End neighborhood near Livingstone believe Dr. Jenkins and the Livingstone College are the target of city vendetta over Livingstone properties in the area the city of Salisbury is alleged to desire for redevelopment.  The sources liken the vendetta to be a payback similar to the “Vanderford Spite Hole” when the area neighbors fought off city development which brought on a city “payback” that lasted over a decade.

Yesterday the RFP was forwarded an email about a future NAACP meeting next Tuesday, April 8th, at 6 p.m.  According to the email sent out by the local chapter of the NAACP: “The purpose of this meeting is to address the Human Rights Issues surrounding the safety code violations the city/Fire Marshall has against Livingstone College.”
