Larry Wright, Rowan County
♦ Wake up conservative Republicans and Rowan TEA Party Patriots. The La Resistance Political Action Committee, henceforth known as the Paris-ites (or simply Parasites) is attempting to place control of the county Commission in the hands of Democrats. The officials of this PAC are RINO Todd Paris, who contributed $1000, and Jeremy Alexander Gardiner (unaffiliated). Other contributors are Eva GeoRene Jones (unaffiliated & Rowan county’s own papparazzi) contributed $100, David Shelby (unaffilitated), Roy Bentlley (unaffiliated), Sheila Brownlow (unaffiliated).
The strategy of the Parasites is to endorse the three weakest candidates that are running for the Republican nomnation for the county Commission. The Parasites are supporting Klusman, Green, and Love in the primary. Two Democrats will be on the ballet in November. Democrat turned unaffillated Raymond Coltrain and RINO Gene Miller have both qualified for the November ballot by getting enough signatures. So altogether there will be at least seven (and possibly eight – if Chris Cohen, gets enough signatures) candidates for the three seats on the county Commission. After the primary is over, look for the Parasites to then drop from their endorsement any Republicans other than Klusman and then endorse Coltrain and Miller. (Sorry, Johnny Love and Mr. Green, they were just using you).
The real plan of the Parasites is to elect Klusman, Miller, and Coltrain. Would this be a Democrat majority on the Commission? No, but Coltrain is really a Democrat as he just switch out of political expediency. Miller is a RINO who very likely is Republcan only because he knows it is difficult to get a Democrat elected in Rowan County. Klusman disagrees with NC passing the marriage amendment in 2012, and does not like our voter ID law. Her ideas are typical of Democrats and not Republicans. So in effect, if the Parasites have their way, Democrats will then control our Board of Commissioners and will proceed to raise taxes and spend like mad.
Conservative Republicans, you can thwart the Parasites plan by electing strong fiscally and socially conservative Republicans in our primary. Two Republicans that fit that description are Joe Colardaci and Jim Sides. Jim Sides is the tax payers best friend. He has never voted for a tax increase. He works hard to keep our county government efficient and business friendly. Jim Sides is the hardest working Commissioner we have had in many years. He is also a man of impecable honesty and integrity.
I have known Joe Coladarci for several years. Joe has been very active in our Rowan TEA Party Patriots and our Republican party. This year he organized our Lincoln-Reagan dinner. He is serving on our county Planning Board. Joe has been in business for himself nearly all his life and is a dedicated hard working conservative.
David Roueche was also interviewed by the Parasites for their consideration as well. Jim Sides and Joe Coladarci came to our TEA Party forum; however Greg Edds and Brandon Cupp did not come. If they do not support us, then I do not believe we should support them.
Jim Sides and Joe Coladarci will fairly represent all of the towns in our county and our rural residents. Neither will cave in to the special interest groups. I voted for both Jim Sides and Joe Coladarci, and hope others will as well to keep our County Commission strong and conservative. If the wrong crowd (the Parasites) are elected, we can all expect that Downtown Salisbury ONLY will have undue influence, and our taxes will go up.
