♦ Saturday, May 10, is Confederate Memorial Day in North Carolina. The Rowan Rifles Camp #405, Sons of Confederate Veterans, will be holding a Memorial Service at the Old English Cemetery in Salisbury, N.C. on Saturday, May 10th, beginning at 11:00 a.m. The Old English Cemetery is located at W. Council and N. Church Streets – one block from Salisbury’s Confederate Monument.
The special guest speaker will be Rev. Herman White with Sarah Miller performing vocal selections.
Please come out, bring your family and friends, and honor your Confederate ancestors on this special day.
