Veteran’s Missing in America Project Will Conduct Funerals in Salisbury on Saturday June 14th

♦ The formerly unclaimed cremains of 15 United States Military Veterans from WWII, Korea and Vietnam wars will receive proper funerals with full military honors.
Greenville, North Carolina – The MISSING IN AMERICA PROJECT will conduct their 1st ceremony in the State of North Carolina. Fifteen (15) veterans whose unclaimed cremated remains have been in the care of a Greenville Mortuary will be honored.

Services will be conducted, with full military honors, at 11:00 am, Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC
The purpose of the MISSING IN AMERICA PROJECT is to locate, identify and inter the unclaimed cremated remains of veterans through the joint efforts of private, state and federal organizations; to provide honor and respect to those who have served this country, by securing a final resting place for these forgotten Heroes. The cremated remains will be escorted by members of the MISSING IN AMERICA PROJECT, Veteran’s Recovery Program, with American flags flying on motorcycles and vehicles to Salisbury National Cemetery. All veteran’s organizations and any member of the public who would like to attend via motorcycle or vehicle are welcome to be a part of the escort.
