♦ The Rowan County Commissioners met at 4 p.m. at the County Administration Building at 130 West Innes in Salisbury, N.C.
• The County commissioners voted 3 to 2 to approve the county budget for a 133 million dollars.
• A 2.75-cent tax increase will arrive with the 2014-15 budget.
• With a raise forthcoming for county employees, the commissioners voted money for 4 new deputies for the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.
• Commissioners approve Rowan-Salisbury Schools selling the Ellis St. property.
