♦ For decades American’s have been going to the polls and voting for the lesser of two evil’s. We have been holding our nose’s and voting even though we haven’t particularly liked the candidate but we despised the other even more. Making those choices may work in the short-run but eventually in the long run the law of diminishing returns set in.
Voting for the lesser of two evil’s has put us in this hole that keeps getting deeper and deeper to dig ourselves out of. We keep on getting fooled into voting for the lesser of two evil’s mainly due to the fact that come election time crisis after crisis hits and we are instructed that we must vote for someone and one party will solve all the problems etc… BLAH BLAH BLAH.
Telling yourself well next time I will vote only for the candidate that meets all the principles and standards seems to never come around. It’s like being in debt and when it’s time to pay the bill you borrow more and the debt gets bigger. You tell yourself this is crazy but what else can I do? Borrowing from Peter to pay Paul is the lesser of two evils.
Our Constitution has been trampled on basically since 1913. Getting a candidate that would actually believe in and restore the Constitution I know seems like a crazy dream, but that is all that it will be if we continue to vote for the lesser of two evil’s. If we continue to vote for whatever candidates they throw at us what lesson are they learning? Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is just flat out crazy!
If I were to follow your logic Chuck and go to the polls in November and vote for every Candidate that had an R by their name, that would mean that I would be voting for Judy Klusman? I would be greatly disappointed in you Chuck if you did that. I know better but that is the wisdom that your throwing at us?
America I’m afraid is about to learn a tough lesson. We have not jealously guarded those wonderful founding Documents of our Country. I for one will never again hold my nose and vote for the lesser of two evil’s. If that means America’s downfall then I say let’s get this party started. Perhaps when we restore our Constitution after the horrible war that is approaching people will actually learn from history and defend liberty at any and all cost.
I hope you don’t view this as any personal attack. I respect your view however flawed it may be.
So the next time a “Smarter, Wiser” friend who “really knows how the world works,” tells you you’ve got to chose between the lesser of two evils, realize who is smart and who the idiot is.
