♦ Mayor Woodson, are you at all familiar with state laws for bidding government construction contracts? No one is permitted to jump to the head of the line because of favors or friendship.
We were very interested to read your email to former city manager Doug Paris, obtained via our Freedom of Information Act inquiry:
Mayor Woodson writes, “Only if he gets to build the Central Office. If not, Wallace would have to buy all 5 parcels.”
Paris emails: “Will send tomorrow. The owner stated he would donate the footprint, so the offer should stand with either buyer yes?”
