♦ I’m more than a little curious and so are a lot of citizens in Salisbury and Rowan County. Will the Chairman of the Board of Education Richard Miller and Superintendent Dr. Lynn Moody of the Rowan-Salisbury Schools be held accountable for their secret discussions with Clay Lindsay and now “mutually terminated” Doug Paris regarding no-bid contract options for the construction of the Central Office Building? It appears that of that group, Mr. Paris was the only one who balked and backed away from this illegal discussion. However, he did indicate he would “love to talk with you (Richard Miller) by telephone to discuss this further.” Why not by email? What was left to discuss? Did the school board’s chairman and the school’s superintendent bring this very inappropriate conversation to the attention of the entire board? My conversations with board members indicate Miller and Moody did not.
Has Rowan-Salisbury’s Board of Education’s “leadership” adopted the value system of Salisbury’s now notorious City Council?
