♦ Time Warner Cable’s Maxx internet and business class 10 gig by 10 gig fiber network are poised to clean Wilson’s “Greenlight: Fiber–to–the–Home” Clock. “Fiber-to-the-home” municipalities were vigorously warned for years by technology analysts that the deep pocketed monsters Time Warner Cable and AT&T U-Verse would produce a rapid end times scenario for the municipal wannabes. In 2015 the big boys will unleash the nuclear option throughout North Carolina. It was all too predictable.
