♦ While city-wide vandalism in Salisbury continues with little pause, Salisbury Police arrested Robert Corrwin Hamby, 23, of the 400 block of Bringle Ferry Road in Salisbury and Jeremy Wayne McKeithan, 27, of the 3500 block of Potneck Road, in Woodleaf. Both men were tied to “slapping” U.S. postage mailing stickers on buildings, light poles, utility boxes, walls, and other fixed objects throughout Salisbury.

McKeithan was charged with 14 counts of injury to personal property and one count of first-degree trespass. He was released after posting a $10,000 secured bond.

While vandalism is wide-spread throughout Salisbury, the downtown area is taking a shellacking with gang tags, an alarming amount of broken windows, graffiti, and “slapping”which employs postal stickers with stenciled images drawn on them.

Persons with information about vandalism are encouraged to call the Salisbury Police Department at 704-638-533.
