♦ The Salisbury Police are investigating a drive-by shooting in Salisbury’s West End Community taking place on the 1600 block of West Horah Street sometime after 11 p.m. Thursday. Two young black males, riding mo-eds, motored up West Horah Street and shot at a 22 year old man sitting on his family’s front porch.
Hearing the mo-peds approach, the young man on the porch whistled at them. Right away the riders began firing, but none of the bullets struck the intended victim. Police sources surmise the shooting may have been in retaliation. The intended victim is on electronic house arrest due to being on probation and can’t leave the premises.
As of Friday no arrests were made.
