♦ At 9 p.m. a fight is underway at Colonial Village Apartments at West D Avenue, the site of this morning’s homicide. The Salisbury Police are calling for backup. All units are responding. Dispatch warned at least one unit to stay on the North side of Salisbury.
Police sources estimate a large group of about of about 30 or so persons fighting and screaming. Many onlookers gathered nearby. Two gunman reported in the crowd. One gunman reported fleeing.
Police cars are reporting. Citizens are warned not to go anywhere near the area.
Police are hunting for a suspect in a red and black shirt, dark pants, is about 5′-9″, black male. He eluded police on foot, running in the direction of a partly wooded area. Now has been spotted entering the area of an apartment complex.
Suspicious vehicle spotted in the area, a Silver Grand Marquis has two passengers. They’re running the tag number right now.
