♦ Dianne, my sister, did finally find an apartment in Salisbury. In one of the very few somewhat safe neighborhoods if that’s possible with all the break-ins and shootings that’s been going on. She is really happy with her apartment it. She is trying hard getting everything lined up. She called someone about hooking her up her with an internet service. Anyway, the woman asked her if she would like to have the “fastest internet” service available. Dianne says, “Who is that?” The lady says, “Fibrant”. Not being from here, Dianne never heard of Fibrant and started asking questions. Should’ve asked me! This woman tried to soft soap Dianne about how wonderful Fibrant is. Then Dianne asked “how much?” Good Lord do you know they want people to pay a DEPOSIT, something like $300–$400 dollars. That’s just a deposit! The monthly bill was outrageous too. Dianne got off the phone immediately. Her eyes popped out of her head when she heard all the prices and fees.  She wondered if it was a scam. She called me asking me if I had ever heard of Fibrant. LOL. “Yes I have,” I told her. “It’s horrible and the people in Salisbury avoid it like the plague.”

Dianne called AT&T U-verse and is quite happy with it. They installed it in no time. It’s very, very fast and nothing anywhere near the price of Fibrant.
