♦ Latest Salisbury, U.S. Census Bureau demographics for Salisbury’s N.C. shows white (non-Hispanic population) is only 48.6% of an ever shrinking proportion of Salisbury’s populace. Perhaps if Salisbury’s city council and its city employees mirrored the large diversity of the city’s population there would be a far better distribution of the city’s power structure and its economic “pie”.
City council ought to have at least 3 three real minority leaders instead of one token “Minority” manipulated by the old-guard “establishment” to drive more wealth in their hands. Time to remake city hall in the image of the actual city instead of digging the city into a deeper hole of de facto apartheid.
