♦ On Monday an intoxicated Jeremy Price, 16, just entered an unlocked house on Stokes Ferry Road in Salisbury, N.C. when he came face-to-face with the 75 year-old female home owner. The quick thinking woman convinced the teenager to go back out the door he entered before she shut the door behind him, locking it. Right away she called 911.
Somewhat shaken by the event, the woman heard the young intruder banging hard on her car with a shovel in an attempt to break-into the vehicle.
A short time later the Salisbury Police arrived and found Price nearby. Price was charged with felony breaking and entering and injury to personal property.
The teenager is now in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $20,000 bond.
