♦ Be on the alert for “Hot” Gift Certificates, from the Salisbury Salon and Spa on 210 East Innes, being sold on the streets of Salisbury, N.C.. Some will unfortunately wind up as Christmas presents. They were recently ripped off from the Salisbury Salon and Spa.
The stolen gift certificates have no cash value printed on them and they are worthless without the Salisbury Salon and Spa’s actual owners’ signatures.
As a practical consumer rule don’t buy merchandise, gift certificates, or gift cards from anyone on the street or someone claiming that the merchandise “just fell off a truck”. This holiday season avoid street scammers or addicts hunting down money for their next fix. Don’t embarrass yourself under the Christmas Tree with a worthless gift sold on the streets of Salisbury.
