♦ Jacob Cody Kendrick, 26, a Federal Armed Robbery fugitive from Boston, Ma., on the run after escaping from Boston Police, was captured Friday at 11 p.m. on South Salisbury Avenue by King’s Convenience store. US Marshals had earlier been tipped off that Kendrick was in the Spencer area.
After being taken into custody by Spencer Police and US Marshals, Kendrick was placed in the rear of a patrol car where he became enraged and kicked out a side window. No Officers were injured.
Kendrick was charged with being a fugitive from justice, resist delay obstruct a public officer, and injury to personal property.
Kendrick is being held under a $102,500 bond at the Rowan County Detention Center. He will be extradited to Boston.
