♦ A middle-aged woman was beaten and robbed in Walmart’s parking lot late Friday afternoon on December 26th.
The victim was just placing a purchase in the rear of her car when black female attempted to snatch the woman’s purse. The victim briefly resisted, but was struck in the head with a revolver and threatened. The thief grabbed the purse, containing $1,800 in cash and gift cards as well the victim’s I.D. and credit cards before fleeing toward Murphy’s Express convenience store and filing station.
