♦ Undercover narcotics deputies from the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office arrested an alleged drug dealing Rockwell couple: Ryan Anthony Everhart, 28, and Leslie Nicole Helms, 25 both of the 100 block of Rock Olive Drive. An undercover deputy from the sheriff’s office was said to have purchased 5 Oxymorphone tablets from Everhart at an apartment located on the 400 block of West Main St. in Rockwell on August 23rd of 2014. At the same address on September 12th an undercover deputy purchased 15 oxycodone tablets from Everhart and Helms.
Everhart was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a controlled substance schedule II, trafficking heroin or opium, maintaining a dwelling place for a controlled substances, and sell and deliver a controlled substance. Everhart, under a $100,000 secured bond, is currently in the Rowan County Detention Center. He is scheduled for his first court appearance on January 13th 2014.
Helms was charged with felony trafficking heroin or opium. Issued a $20,000 secured bond, she is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center. Helms is scheduled for her first court appearance on January 13th.
