Demarcus Dawann Stalling, of Salisbury, N.C., Arrested Saturday for Alleged Armed Robbery on Hawkinstown Road

♦ Demarcus Dawann Stalling, 28, 303 Forest Winds Drive in Salisbury, N.C., was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with an armed robbery on the 100 block of Hawkinstown Road on the outskirts of Salisbury, N.C..

Stalling, a former high jumper and basketball player at North Rowan High School, is charged with felony robbery with firearms or other dangerous weapon. He is being held on a secured $10,000 bond at the Rowan County Detention Center.

Stalling’s previous record includes charges of possession with intent to manufacture/sell/distribute a controlled substance schedule I, possession of drug paraphernalia, common law robbery, and probation violation.
