♦ Erin Lynn Upright, 36, of the 800 block S. Ellis Street in Salisbury, an ex day shift manager at McDonald’s fast food restaurant on the 700 block of E. Innes in Salisbury, N.C. was arrested for allegedly embezzling $5,596 from McDonald’s bank deposits.
Apparently Erin Lynn Upright is the queen bee of Salisbury scammers. She is a revolving door criminal going back to 1999. Check out her extensive record. Somebody wasn’t doing their background checks at Mickey D’s:
Upright was accused of taking money from the fast food restaurant’s bank deposits on two separate occasions. The first was in November 2014 when she was alleged to have taken $1800 of which she paid back $865 to the company on a repayment plan. Later she was alleged to have helped herself to $3796 intended for a bank deposit. The Salisbury Police were informed about the incidents in January.
Upright has since left McDonald’s.
Upright was charged with 2 counts of larceny by an employee and was in the Rowan County Detention Center under $15,000 secured bond.
