♦ I’m going to take a slight detour from my usual message of obtaining a concealed carry permit and practicing: “Two to the core and one to the head”. As most of you know Downtown Salisbury is waist high in scammers, pushers, junkies fighting for a fix, and just plain old cutthroats ready to carve you up or add lead to your vitamin intake.
This morning topped it all for me when I read about the queen bee of Salisbury scammers in the RFP. Some gal named Erin Lynn Upright somehow snuck in under the radar of background checks and got the opportunity to biff McDonald’s for $5,600. What gets me is that McDonald’s gave her a second chance handling money as day manager. Her criminal record for fraud, identity theft, and forgery already put her in the big house. This woman has been bilking people since 1999 and makes you wonder about second chance advocates for career psychopaths. Only a few jaybirds ever turn it around. Most career criminals possess psychopathic brains with no conscience. They’ll be back on the next bus to Central Prison.
When Erin Lynn Upright is ever available for work again I’d suggest she skip down to Salisbury’s City Hall and look up H.R.. They LOVE embezzlers down there–treat them like royalty. City Hall won’t bring charges because they don’t want to soil City Hall’s rep.
So if you are unfortunate enough to drive through the Bury duck tape your I.D. to your front pocket. Leave your wallet at home.
As for going into Downtown Salisbury know where your firearm is at all times and don’t hesitate to use it should someone with bad intentions attempt to invade your personal perimeter. The target for crime seldom gets a second chance. Get there first.
