♦ With road conditions expected to be hazardous throughout Rowan County due to freezing rain, sleet, and small accumulations of snow throughout today and this evening, Rowan-Salisbury Schools has canceled classes on Tuesday. Today (Monday) teachers will have an early dismissal. Students were off Monday due to President’s Day.
Please note that Rowan-Salisbury District Offices will be closed Tuesday as well. The school system’s make-up day will fall on March 26th.
Road conditions are expected to worsen after 4 p.m. today. So if you have to drive on what’s expected to be ultra slippery roads, drive with caution.
