♦ Julia Renea Peeler, 58, of the 900 block of Mitchell Avenue in China Grove was alleged to have had sexual relations with an inmate at the N.C. State Correctional Facility at 1245 Camp Road in Salisbury, N.C.
Peeler was employed in the “High Rise’s” prison kitchen at the time the incidents allegedly took place between April 2014 and June 2014. The incidents were reported to a prison supervisor in early January. Peeler is no longer is employed at the prison.
Peeler was charged February 17th with 3 counts of felony sex offense or intercourse by a guardian and released on bond.
