♦ Rowan County Republican Nominating Committee made up of Rep Carl Ford, Dr. Ada M. Fisher, and Rep. Harry Warren will nominate Stephen Kidd as a Candidate for the Rowan County Republican Chairman for Saturday’s convention. Stephen Kidd served previously in that capacity from 2005 to 2009.
An alternate slate is said to be supporting Republican Tom Speaks, the window king of Salisbury and Rowan County, for the chairmanship.
This Saturday morning registration for the Rowan County Republican Convention goes from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. for all registered Republicans. Fee is $10. The Convention will be held on the 2nd floor of the County Administration building.
