♦ Charles Keith Freeman, 62, of 835 Majolica Road in Salisbury, died Sunday afternoon in a motorcycle accident when a Nissan Pathfinder SUV attempted to turn left into a driveway at 1085 Majolica Road and struck the Southbound motorcyclist. The Nissan Pathfinder was driven by Michael Bryant Stewart, 52, of Salisbury.
Freeman, a Salisbury building contractor and wellknown in Rowan motorcycle circles, was pronounced dead at the scene by Rowan County EMS personnel. Stewart, although shaken by the accident, did not sustain any injuries.
Salisbury Police are investigating the accident and no charges were filed at this time.
