Witt Darnell Alexander, Jr. of Salisbury, N.C. ID’d as Alleged East Rowan YMCA “Wallet Snatch”

♦ Witt Darnell Alexander, Jr., 22, of Mahaley Ave. in Salisbury has been ID’d as the alleged East Rowan YMCA Wallet thief by tipsters in contact with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff’s Office investigators learned Alexander was on the YMCA premises the day the Wallet “disappeared”.  Alexander also showed up at the Salisbury YMCA.

Along with the wallet, credit cards were stolen and used at several county locations.

Warrants for Alexander’s arrest are for larceny, financial card theft, and 3 counts of obtaining property under false pretense.
