♦ Stevie Martin Wingler, Jr., 26, of Cold Springs Rd. in Concord, was charged Monday for allegedly breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home on Mahaley Ave. in Salisbury and robbing and ransacking it. The victim was not home at the time of the alleged breaking and entry. When she arrived home in the early evening she found her belongings scattered and that someone went through her drawers. Cash was missing.
Witnesses saw Wingler leave the home and later Monday evening Wingler was arrested. He was charged with breaking and entering a building (felony). Under a $7,500 secured bond, Wingler is currently in the Rowan County Detention Center. He will have his first hearing on April 1st. Wingler is on probation for a December simple assault.
