♦ Highlights of Monday’s School Board Agenda:
• Discussion of new school start times: high schools at 8:30 a.m., middle schools at 7:30 a.m., and elementary schools split between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. start times.
• Alesia Burnette, Executive Director of Elementary Education, will present the roles and responsibilities of teacher assistants.
• The board will talk over the 2015-16 budget prior to Wednesday’s joint committee meeting with County Commissioner representatives. Capital needs such including the West Rowan Elementary School will be the focus.
