These videos will be made available as soon as they are posted by the Rowan-Salisbury Schools. Videos are a first rate way to learn directly about your school system. Unlike a newspaper reports, they contain everything that was discussed and voted upon in a meeting in an unedited and slant free manner.
A truly informed citizen will choose to view unedited videos over any other form of news media if they desire to know about any governmental body. Videos are a must for any governmental body seeking to be transparent. Be aware however that at times sometimes governmental bodies will misuse videos for “award ceremonies” and “spin announcements” for publicity purposes. The discerning viewer ought to be alert for “hard sell” pitches when they occur locally among governmental boards. The Board of Education videos:
