Christopher Evandol Evans, on the Lam from Justice for an Alleged Armed Robbery in Salisbury, N.C., Captured Saturday

♦ Christopher Evandol Edwards Evans, 24, of 500 West McCubbins Street in Salisbury, on the lam from justice for an armed robbery and other crimes, was captured Saturday in Salisbury.

On April 30th Evans allegedly stuck-up Gregory Lee Crawford and Matthew Alan Moore with semi-automatic handgun and robbed them of $425 and a 16 ounces of reefer.  Allegedly Evans threated to  kill the pair if they “didn’t give it up”.  Crawford wound up being wounded.  The RFP report here:

On Saturday Evans was arrested and charged with robbery with firearms or other dangerous weapons (felony),  a single count of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury on an officer (felony), 3 counts of probation violation (misdemeanor), and domestic assault by pointing a gun.

Under a $80,000 secured bond, Evans is currently in the Rowan County Detention Center.
