♦ Glenda H. Landreth, 56, of 2585 Organ Church Road in Rockwell, was arrested Tuesday afternoon for allegedly using her company credit card to steal $19,538 from Fisher Athletics on Cauble Road in Rockwell. Landreth, according to warrants, was said to carry on her credit card theft from 2008 until October 2014, making a dizzying amount of assorted bill payments and purchases.
Noting irregularities in Landreth’s company credit card account, the account manager for Fisher Athletics contacted the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.
After obtaining warrants for Landreth, the Sheriff’s Office arrested her and charged her with 25 counts of larceny by servants and other employees (felony).
Under a $75,000 secured bond, Landreth is in the Rowan County Detention Center.
