♦ Jennifer Reid A.K.A. Jennifer Alicia Carter, 32, of Mocksville was arrested Monday afternoon in Salisbury for meth possession after a traffic stop at West Innes Street and Lantz Avenue near Catawba College.
Reid’s Nissan Maxima sedan was pulled over by the Salisbury Police who soon discovered Reid was driving with a revoked license. A search of the Reid’s car and person located a gram of crystal meth, Xanax, and a “spoon”. Later it was determined Reid acquired Sudafed with another person’s ID at a Walmart pharmacy.
Reid was charged with possession of a controlled substance schedule I (felony), 2 counts of obtaining property under false pretenses (felony), of simple possession of a schedule IV controlled substance (misdemeanor), Possession of drug paraphernalia (misdemeanor), and driving while license is revoked (misdemeanor).
Under a $10,000 secured bond, Reid was briefly in the Rowan County Detention Center before being released.
