♦ A third suspect in last Friday’s armed robbery on the 100 block of Pearl Street in Salisbury, Rasheed Stephens-Maddox, 24, was arrested early Wednesday.
Charged with robbery with firearms or other dangerous weapons (felony), Rasheed Stephens-Maddox, is under a $10,000 secured bond, is currently in the Rowan County Detention Center.

“Dwayne Jaquan Means, Jr., 22, a Salisbury homeless man and Jameel Kenneth “Houdini” Stephens-Maddox, 22, of 8th Street in East Spencer were arrested over the weekend for an alleged armed robbery on the 100 block of Pearl Street in Salisbury. A third suspect Rasheed Anthony Stephens-Maddox, 24, is also being sought for the alleged robbery. All 3 men were said to come up on a man and held a pistol on him while they relieved him of over $500 dollars and smart phone valued at approximately $600. The trio fled on foot.
Means was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with robbery with firearms or others dangerous weapons (felony). Under a $7,500 secured bond, Means was held in the Rowan County Detention Center until his release on bond.
His alleged accomplice Jameel Kenneth Stephens-Maddox was arrested Saturday and charged with robbery with firearms or others dangerous weapons (felony). Stephens-Maddox was released after posting a $5,000 secured bond.”
