Kenny Lane, Rowan County
If you were not already aware, Joel Terrell Leach, 23, of Salisbury was arrested Tuesday morning and charged with robbery with firearms or other dangerous weapons (felony). Under a secured $50,000 bond, he is in the Rowan County Detention Center.

Kenny, thanks for the heads up. We noticed Mr. Leach on the inmate roster Tuesday and we’ve asked around for specifics. A lot of our contacts are enjoying the holidays at the moment and we expect to hear from them before long.
We recall Mr. Leach was charged for a misdemeanor gunfight back in October 12th 2012. He allegedly got in a gun battle with Darrell Tucker, 45, over a dispute. The two allegedly exchanged shots and were charged with misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon. Nobody was hit or hurt.
