The Rowan Free Press was alerted last evening by County Commission Chairman Jim Sides that a special meeting would be called to discuss the Salisbury Mall purchase at 1 P.M. on Monday December 9th. The meeting, open to the public, will be held in the commissioner’s 2nd floor chambers at the Rowan County Administration Building on West Innes.
At this writing the county has several unresolved questions of a financial nature impeding the closing date going forward. The commissioners hope that by Monday

these issues will be resolved and the Mall Purchase will go forward with a closing date on December 16th.
