♦ Firebug loose in Walmartia! On Thursday at approximately 3:50 p.m. someone in Walmart’s pet food section set fire to some dog food. Luckily an employee spotted smoke and the fire was quickly extinguished before the Salisbury Police were summoned to the Salisbury’s largest chain retailer at 323 S. Arlington Street. Perhaps the arsonist will appear in the store’s security video.
At present the arson remains under investigation and no suspects are yet named.

At approximately 2:20 a.m. someone set fire to a blue 2005 Chevvy Mailbu parked on the street infront Terry Germaine Cathcart’s home at 1319 W. Bank Street in Salisbury’s West End.

The arson remains under investigation. At this time no motive for the arson has been put forward and no suspects have been identified.
