♦ Charles Edward Pigg, 61, a convicted sex offender whose last known address was 1515 S. Salisbury Avenue in Spencer, was arrested Friday night at 630 Clark Road in Salisbury by Rowan County Sheriff’s Office deputies for failure to notify the Sheriff’s Office of his change of address.
Pigg was charged with failure to notify of address (felony). Under a secured $10,000 bond, he is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center.
Pigg has convictions for sex crimes involving children in Iredell County including several counts of attempted rape and taking indecent liberties with a minor.
