♦ According to Salisbury Police sources officers were dispatched to the scene of a shooting at 212 East 11th Street in Salisbury at 1:12 a.m. There they found April Cora-Lucille Hall, 38, from 111 8th Street in Spencer laying outside a vacant house with a critical gunshot wound. Police and Sheriff’s Office vehicles quickly flooded the area.

She was transported to by a fire department emergency vehicle to Novant Health Rowan Medical before being helicoptered to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. She died Saturday evening.

At this time the Salisbury Police have made no arrests or revealed suspects.
An intensive investigation has gone on since early this morning.
