Ms. Jones I read your angry letter several times before I decided to respond.
First I want to acknowledge the individual or individuals who noted “The who died and made queen strategy” and other core Rowan Concerned Citizens tactics appearing in the RFP article: “Rowan Concerned Citizens Tactics to Smear County Commissioners Uncovered”. The article was absolutely spot on. Kudos to the women who penetrated this Occupy Salisbury style group and turned the high-beams on their smear campaign against Rowan County Commissioners.
Ms. Jones I’m glad you found a safe avenue for your anger in the “best laugh you ever had”. I agree with you when you stated: “You REALLY think I’m speaking for anyone other than myself”. Yes Ms. Jones you are speaking for no one other than yourself and perhaps the handful of Rowan Concerned Citizens. Ms. Jones do you need to be reminded that those county commissioners, who you and your wayward flock attempt to smear, were elected by the majority of the county? That’s right–elected by the majority of the county. The people of Rowan County already spoke loud and clear at the polls. If you have an argument with this concept take it to the board of elections. Best hurry–they’re probably moving before too long to the newly purchased Mall.
Indeed you spoke right in front of the cameras and disruptively so at the county commissioners special meeting where it was announced there would be no public commentary. The audience was shocked by you and your friend Judy Klusman’s attempt to strongarm the meeting. You thought the better of it when noted the presence of county law enforcement.
Come now–no connection with the Rowan Concerned Citizens?
Ms. Jones look beyond your demanding self-absorption and consider the outcomes of the last two county elections. Rowan County is far larger than Salisbury’s special interests or the “Occupy Salisbury” Rowan Concerned Citizens.
Keep your eyes on the skies and talk this over with your spiritual mentors at the seminary.
