♦The Story of the Year was a slam dunk for the year long battle over placing the Central Office at 329 S. Main Street in downtown Salisbury. The Rowan Free Press wore out more computer keys on the 329 S. Main Street than any other story including the Salisbury Mall Purchase and the Rowan County Airport De-annexation.
