♦ The crime wave continues in Salisbury. Today we’ll focus on the city’s many strong arm robberies. On the brighter side there were no robberies in the last 72 hours employing blunt force weapons such as rocks, sledge hammers, clubs, or aluminum fungo bats to cave in someone’s skull for a pack of ciggies or a few bucks. Survival of the fittest in the Bury.
On Monday a robbery–strong arm no weapon took place at Lowe’s at 207 Faith Road where a man menaced 2 sales clerks when they tried to stop him from carting off a Cobalt leaf blower on the lot. Lowes reported the crime to 911 at 7:56 p.m. The leaf blower (valued at $429) was long gone when the police showed up a few minutes later. No one was reported injured in the brief confrontation.
