♦ According to Salisbury Police sources and neighbors Teela Evette Wilkins, 29, living at 310 Messner Street in Salisbury’s besieged West End, was the victim of all other shooting into an occupied property on Sunday. The shooting was reported later at 3:22 p.m. Monday and officers arrived soon after to take a report.
Multiple gunshots were heard throughout the area according to neighbors. A handgun was used in the shooting. No injuries reported. A window was reported damaged ($75 estimated damages).
People in the area are alleging this shooting was in retaliation for the Firewater Lounge murder of Sharod Raheem Mathis and is gang related, yet this is unconfirmed by police sources.
