♦ According to Salisbury Police sources Michael Angelo Mclean, 33, and Shavonna Annissia Casey, 28, both of Salisbury, were arrested Saturday night for allegedly strong arm robbing Annjanet Wallace, 41, from Bainbridge Drive in Winston-Salem, on 1300 W. Bank Street in Salisbury. The crime was reported to 911 dispatch about 9:37 p.m.
Wallace, battered and suffering from minor injuries from the attack, gave up 2 Samsung Galaxy smart phones to her alleged assailants. The phones had an estimated total value of $1,000. The two phones were returned about an hour after the pair’s arrest at 1001 W. Horah Street.

Mclean was charged with common law robbery (felony) and assault on a female by a male over 18 (misdemeanor). Under a secured bond he was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center where he as since bonded out.
Casey was charged with common law robbery (felony) and simple assault (misdemeanor). Under a secured bond he was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center where he as since bonded out.
